SandboxAQ's Security Suite Launches
Pentagon officials believe that quantum technology is approaching a tipping point.
Hey Everyone,
Even as Google and SentinelOne release their Generative A.I. competitors to Microsoft’s Security Copilot, in Quantum it’s a bit more rarified air.
The U.S. secretary of defense (DoD) is asking for more funding for Quantum, it’s a race. Defense Scoop is reporting that the Secretary of Defense is requesting $75 million to accelerate quantum.
When Sandbox AQ was spun-out of Google, $500 million in funding gave it a head-start like few other corporate entities.
Cryptography is the foundation of data protection. However, it is often opaque and hard-coded in systems, making it hard to eliminate vulnerabilities, difficult to show compliance and complex to implement upgrades.
The SandboxAQ Security Suite is an end-to-end, cryptographic-agility platform that provides a full inventory of existing cryptography use, including vulnerability and compliance analysis, as well as a path to centrally-managed, robust and agile cryptography. The result is protection from today’s attacks, as well as security against the future threat of a large-scale quantum computer.
Sandbox AQ understand how to build a product that enterprise clients will actually need in the world of today and the world of tomorrow. Investing heavily in cybersecurity itself enables it to scale a real product as Quantum computing needs a bit more time to get going.
Jack Hilary is always up for a quote:
“Many large enterprises have legacy systems that are riddled with old protocols such as MD5 and SHA-1 that have been broken for more than a decade. SandboxAQ’s Security Suite helps organizations transition to secure encryption protocols with forward-compatible security, including post-quantum cryptography standards, providing them with the software necessary to protect their customers, their intellectual property, and critical infrastructure.” — said Jack Hidary, CEO of SandboxAQ.
Let’s dive a bit more into this (but not too much).
